Acquadesign at the Equip’Hotel trade show, Paris
Acquadesign combines its know-how with the talent of great designers such as Matali Crasset, Jean-Philippe Nuel and Xavier Lust, to reinvent a bathroom that invests space.
To illustrate this creative approach, Acquadesign was present in the Room Studio of Hall 3 at Equip'Hotel, from 16 to 20 November 2014, when three house designers, Stella Cadente, Olivier Lapidus and Hicham Lahlou staged their bathtubs.
L'Amano'i features on the "Hot List" of 51 hotels in 2014!
Condé Nast Traveller magazine's Hot List brings together the most remarkable new hotels each year across the world. This year the selection brings together 51 establishments including the incredible Amano'i hotel in Vietnam which the Aquamass Hotel & Projects department has worked with.
"The first Amanresort hotel in Vietnam is off-grid, situated a two hour journey south of Nha Tang. The coastal road to the hotel is beautiful but deserted. Amongst the wooded mountains some villas produced by Jean-Michel Gathy are found, with oak beds, vast bathrooms, private swimming pools and red Chinese lanterns hanging from sliding doors.
Take a buggy to get down to the beach. Don't forget to sample the juicy mangos and freshly baked pastries (the pastry chef Arnaud previously worked at the Michelin star Taillevent restaurant in Paris). Make the most of the yoga pavilion, rent a Hobie Cat catamaran or spend time in the spa (a pure delight).
Situated some kilometres from other large hotels on the East coast, here you can relax in your own way."

Bath Bar by Aquamass Design
From 22 January to 12 February 2014, the "Maison&Objet Show" took place at the Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel featuring a temporary "bath bar" in partnership with Aquamass Design.
Six Aquamass Design bathtubs were set up in the bar and on the terrace of the hotel so that design lovers could sip a drink a little differently...removing their shoes and relaxing in the tub.
Grand Prize for Hotel Bathrooms 2010
More than ever, hotels are turning towards bathrooms to confirm their personality and uniqueness, not hesitating to entrust their layout to recognised designers. Every two years, the Idéobain Exhibition awards its Grand Prize for Hotel Bathrooms. Last February, it was Matali Crasset who won the prize for her work with Aquamass bathtubs. An accolade for this French designer who achieved recognition with her design of the Hi Hotel in Nice where each room and bathroom already included bathtubs specially made by Aquamass.
Oliver Lapidus, Jean Pol Piron... The meeting of fashion with design, of design with the bathroom...
In 2012, Olivier Lapidus caused a stir for Aquamass. When Jean Pol Piron met Olivier Lapidus, he was struck by the man's simplicity, creativity and passion...which he too shared. They both spoke the same language...After the "bathtub - object" they progressed to the "couture" bathtub.
The Black Tears Collection, by Olivier Lapidus is a tribute to his roots. The bathtubs are decorated in iconic motifs from the history of fashion such as houndstooth, polka dots, bayadere or even rings... Olivier Lapidus' creations are a testament to an infinite grace, each bathtub is of the highest precision and discretion, perfect in balance and refinement.
Launch of the Navale bathtub in Corian (DuPont ™ Corian ®) by Belgian designer Xavier Lust
When Jean Pol Piron met Xavier Lust, their shared passion for the quintessence of design could only result in an exceptional creation; the Navale bathtub.
The first prototypes were naturally created in aluminium, the designer's material of preference.
Launch of the The Original Stone One Parure bathtub by Elvis Pompilio... When fantasy is made into a bathtub and the bath becomes happiness...
If there is one word that is absolutely banned in Elvis Pompilio and Jean Pol Piron's language, it is "banality"... Elvis Pompilio's Parure bathtub is the creation of a meeting of two creators and trend setters.
The first, a big name hailing from Brussels, a milliner renowned for the originality and savoir-faire of his creations, each one more dazzling than the last. He has turned the hat, cap, fedora, headwear into a trade that is overflowing with colours and poetry.
The second, Jean Pol Piron, founder of Aquamass and producer for renowned designers.
To our delight, these two decided to work together to revisit one of the jewels of the Aquamass brand, The Original Stone One, offering us a surprising version, an unusual twist, a fanciful reflection of the creator, Elvis Pompilio. The Original Stone One Parure by Elvis Pompilio is produced in different pearl finishes such as Fire Red (translucent red pearls), absolute black, grey or white (opaque pearls) or even in African pigments... so a large range of colours.
